Industrial Controls Software Engineer - Cheshire, CT

Provides the technical expertise required for computer and PLC setup, programming, and assistance.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
o Planning/writing of programming code as necessary, to ensure the end product meets functional goals expected of the product on required schedules.
o Design and develop HMI applications o Design and review PLC & IO network architecture o Support the creation of technical product documentation and information o Provide on-site assistance during system start-up, commissioning, and maintenance o Estimate and report project status o 3-5 years experience with C# and .
NET programming is required o 3-5 years experience with SQL database such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL o 3-5 years experience with PLC controls from vendors such as Koyo o Experience writing multi-threading applications is highly desired.
o Requirements capturing and documentation - The candidate must be able to write project requirements documentation, and trace implemented functionality back to the requirements.
o Software validation - The candidate must be able to write software test plans and execute them.
o Electrical experience is desired.
o Experience with Modbus is a plus o Experience with LabVIEW is a plus o Strong communications and organizational skills is required Qualifications:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
