District Manager

JOB SUMMARY :
The District Manager (DM) is responsible for delivering budgeted sales and profit growth objectives in the assigned market through direct leadership and supervision of the Account Managers.
The DM will drive Organic Growth as well as prepare and perform sales reports, sales campaigns, account reviews, AR reviews, and maintain Airgas policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead, supervise, manage, motivate and train account managers to achieve the highest sales performance as well as productivity and safety standards.
Meet at a minimum monthly with each account managers to assist in territory Organic growth planning, goal setting, implementations and monthly SE Portal reviews Review and improve sales and profitability on each account managers assigned territory through account acquisition, product sales strategy and sales campaigns Perform annual reviews for the Account Managers Lead professional development of the account manager team Perform joint sales calls to monitor and provide feedback.
Teach sales techniques and skills Secure and maintain existing account base as well as; customer contact relationships with key decision makers, buying influencers Improve existing business practices through the use and management of Airgas Product Specialists, vendor partners, current industry best practices, new products and other available resources Provide leadership and direction in overcoming problems and performing day to day tasks Actively review territory Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize Airgas working capital investment and financial risk Support and execute national account management activities within assigned areas.
Establish and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to sales plans, programs and issues, customer successes, customer failures, new customer developments and other customer specific information Hire and retain talent to the account manager team within budgetary guidelines Ensure compliance with all company policies & procedures, including, but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity, workplace violence, drug-free workplace, and other policies to provide associates with a quality and safe work environment (The above job functions are illustrative of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.

o Meet and consult with Area VP/GM o Other tasks as assigned by the Area VP/GM o Handle account managers questions, concerns or problems in a way that follows Airgas policies and procedures o Develop sales budgets and plans o Develop and host sales meetings, sales campaigns, and other strategic sales efforts and annual reviews o Handle and accurately document all outside sales personal issues in a timely manner QualificationsQualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5-10 years outside sales experience and 2 years sales management preferred Bachelor's degree preferred, combination of college training and experience considered Technical training in welding, gases preferred, technical background in related industries considered NECESSARY SKILLS :
Strong leadership, analytical and negotiation skills Strong ability in selling skills, ability to close new business with strong time and territory management skills Strong oral and written communication skills Goal oriented and self-motivated Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge and understanding of financial accounting terms and principals including Gross Margin, Gross Margin %, Operating Income, Return On Investment (ROI), Internal Rate of Return, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement Ability to lead and function within team environments EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, protected veteran status or disability.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
