The Account Manager is a dedicated sales professional that enjoys helping people, approaches challenges with energy and enthusiasm, and, works hard to achieve personal and business objectives. We are currently seeking an Inside Sales representative with an Aircraft, Aerospace, and Defense background. This position is more accountmangement then sales. This position is a Direct Hire and the salary is between 65k-80k with benifits and year end bonus
Primary Position Responsibilities
- Exceed sales and profit targets within assigned territory.
- Acquire new business by building relationships with prospective accounts through on-site and off-site visits, presentations and formal offers
- Negotiate terms of purchase in coordination with the immediate supervervisor and/or other company personnel
- Work with existing, new and prospective customers on job, process or company qualification approvals
- Exceed customer expectations for response to Requests for Quotations (RFQ's), order status, surveys, audits, and complaints and other requested information or issues
- Review customer Requests for Quotations (RFQ's) and prepare product price quotations in accordance with company pricing policies and procedures
- Review customer Purchase Orders for completeness and compliance to the price quotation and standard terms and conditions
- Ensure that customer Purchase Orders are entered into the company's ERP System within the time period prescribed by individual and/or company performance metrics
Critical Requirements
--5-10 years of sales, service or program management experience in a manufacturing/job shop environment
--Intermediate level or higher in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
--Prior experience utilizing a customer relationship management program such as SalesForce, ACT! or Goldmine.
--Ability to use internet for customer, product, or market research abilities required
--Ability to work independently, manage workload and exceed assigned goals
--Establish priorities, meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently
--Must like the challenge and stimulation of working with people at all levels and functions to solve problems and get things done while following policies and procedures.
--Dedicated to and personally responsible for completing tasks on time and a willingness to go above and beyond when necessary

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
