The Sensors and Integrated Systems (SIS) division in Cheshire, Connecticut has a full time position for a Supply Chain Manager.In this role, the Supply Chain Manager will perform the following duties: -Delivery Assurance: manage strategic partnership with supply base to insure the delivery of product in support of requirements is met in terms of quality, delivery and cost. -Insure purchase orders are placed in a timely manner.-Manage all Supply Chain functions and personnel including Material Scheduling, planning, receiving, stockroom, and shipping. -Manage the tactical procurement team to execute SAP driven PO placement and management. Measure and drive SAP exception message management to maturity. -Manage the Shipping/Receiving teams to ensure inventory goals and targets are being met. Work towards the elimination of the annual physical inventory. Champion, measure, and drive inventory accuracy and reduction within the warehouse utilizing process improvements, visual controls, and partnerships with other functional areas.-Manage the planning organization to reduce lead-time. This position will lead efforts to ensure that SAP is reflective of the production schedule, standardize material planning, optimize master scheduling and production flow within the manufacturing facility through the utilization of capacity planning practices, level loading, and Lean/Six-Sigma tools.-Manage Inventory in support of requirements and maintain proper levels to support production plan.-Periodic review of E & O material.-Update and follow all policies and procedures required to support Supply Chain functions.-Manage Small Business plan and reporting into government site. Establish yearly goals for small businesses and report on progress to our customers and the government.-Periodic review and update of departmental metrics. Continuous review of ACE tools to improve all processes and maximize process maturity. Collect turn backs and establish goals to eliminate bottlenecks. Conduct quarterly customer feedback, report on findings and establish goals to improve customer satisfaction.-Work with Finance to establish yearly Inventory plan in support of Operations plan and take appropriate actions to minimize inventory, improve inventory turns.-Work with Finance to insure standard cost pricing is complete and accurate. Establish standard work for maintaining accurate pricing.-Work with Program management and Business Development in support of RFQ s that need to be provided to customer quotes.-Work with Program management to develop and improve SOP process to help manage the business and establish working AOP for the business to work to.-Maintain relationship with SIS Supply chain management and report and escalate any pending problem suppliers that prevent site from meeting objectives.-Review and approve all purchase orders, budget procurements. -Support customer audits, AS9100 audits, government audits as necessary.-Participate on site leadership staff and work to help set up site goals in support of SIS goals. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
