The Clinical Coordinator (RN) will maintain the Outpatient Spine and Pain center.
This individual will assess the patients condition, sets goals, prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning.
Assist in the coordinating nursing care of patients when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
Establishes and maintains communications and utilizes teaching opportunities with patients, and other significant individuals.
Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the hospital.
Must be able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment to triage, and assist physicians as needed.
QualificationsEducation Requirementso BSN (preferred)o Current RN license in state of Connecticuto Must have previous RN experienceo Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
o Self-directed in the management of patient care.
