2 Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Adam's Hometown Markets Alcohol & Tobacco Administrator Adam's Hometown Markets is searching for a high energy and motivated Alcohol & Tobacco Administrator.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for implementing a centralized pricing and promotional program across all our locations for Beer, Wine, Spirits and Tobacco.
You will serve as our in-house Alcohol expert focused on growing our sales and gross margin while maintaining and growing our assortment in all areas.
This position requires you to spend most of your time in our locations supporting and training our teammates, merchandising, resets and coordinating sampling events.
Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement advertising and pricing programs for all locations.
Maintain and manage our pricing structure to ensure sales and gross margin goals.
Collaborate with all suppliers in our marketing areas to develop marketing plans and coordinate buying to fulfill promotional activities.
Must be able to negotiate costs, supplier support, ad support and point of sale materials.
Visiting all locations to support, train, merchandise and plan/do resets as needed.
Identifies and meets with suppliers for innovative new products that support the Adams brand.
Communicating with store teams on all promotional activities, programs, and pricing issues.
Coordinating with finance and suppliers so that promotional credits and allowances are accounted for.
Formalizes and communicates best practices on merchandising, pricing, and ad planning.
Will be responsible for social media posts to promote sampling events and promotions, including food pairings.
Lead a robust customer and teammate education program on wine, including tastings, training, POS materials and social media pieces, Foodie with expert food and wine pairings.
Plan, implement, manage, track execution, and evaluate results of pricing, promotion, distribution, and merchandising.
Requirements Must be tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially excel.
Demonstrated expertise and passion for Wine, certifications a plus.
Expected to own supplier relationships; resolve issues and planning programs.
Use of data to formulate plans, profitability, and trends to define actions, objectives, and outcomes.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaborate with all teammates.
Strong organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for supporting and developing teammates, hiring and performance evaluations.
Eager and committed to constantly improving knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and imparting that knowledge to others.
Maintain consistent store visits with reliable transportation and driver's license (Maine to Long Island).
Perform administrative tasks as needed - expense reports, ad calendars, pricing, TPRs, supplier information, rebates, price surveys, etc.
Experience in inventory, buying, negotiating, pricing, budgeting and other aspects of retail operations and merchandising.
Able to work occasional weekends and nights.
Stay appraised of federal, state, and local laws affecting alcohol/tobacco.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
